A family business founded in 1992 in Barcelona. Currently, the second generation of the Alós Plas, brothers Marc and Sergi, are in charge of our company. And, truth be told, more than just a company, we're all like a small family. Our entire professional team is the true value of Caganer. With several physical stores across Spain, we also sell internationally through our online store. And, although we consider ourselves protectors of traditions, we always stay abreast of trends and strive to continue innovating.

Catalan roots
At Caganer, we're Catalans, but we're also citizens of the world! We can't deny that our brand is linked to the culture and traditions of Catalonia, and we'd like the Caganer character and his story to reach as many people as possible. In fact, that's what we strive for every day. If our brand were a tree, its roots would undoubtedly be Catalan, but each branch would grow to expand into infinity and share its joy with the rest of the planet.
craft
Our figurines are the result of artisanal work. From creation to painting, each piece is carried out by professionals who work with them individually, before they reach the stores. We use molds to shape the local clay from which they are made, and they are painted by hand. For all these reasons, we have obtained the D'A Quality Seal awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government) to certify the artisanal origin of our products. By the way, any slight asymmetry you may observe in any of the figurines is proof that they are not mass-produced and automated pieces. And we believe that these details make them even more special!
OWN WORKSHOP
Our R&D center is located in Torroella de Montgrí, Girona. From our "workshop of dreams," all the lovingly finished Caganers emerge, then travel to our stores to await the smiles of their new owners. Thus, from Catalonia to the rest of the world, we spread a little bit of magic and hope through each of the figures we handcraft here every day.

CAGANER
EXPERIENCE
Would you like to experience our most creative and fun experience?
This is a group workshop during which you can paint one of our Caganer figurines in your own style, while learning about this iconic figure of Catalan culture in a fun way. It's an activity suitable for all ages and we also organize it for businesses, schools, town halls, community centers, associations, and more.

Little by little, we're opening new stores in an attempt to reach you closer. We already know you can buy our Caganers online, but only the unique experience of walking into one of our stores can truly convey the good vibes we strive for.
