Caganer Shinzo Abe

Since September 2012, Shinzō Abe has been the head of government of Japan—appointed by the National Diet and nominated by the Emperor. He was the youngest prime minister since the end of World War II and the first born after the war. With policies considered center-right, Abe has strengthened alliances with countries such as the United States and the members of the European Union; at the same time, he has maintained a firm stance against North Korea and the People's Republic of China.
