Caganer Artur Mas

Artur Mas i Gavarró, former president of the Generalitat of Catalonia and founder of CDC within the Catalan Democratic Party, is experiencing, along with the Catalan people, a decisive historical moment. In honor of this president and this important era we are living through, we have recreated a caganer (a traditional Catalan Christmas figurine) that embodies the soul of the Catalan independence movement.

Mas was president of the Generalitat from December 27, 2010, until early 2016, after winning the third election in November 2010 as the CiU candidate. His first months in office were characterized by a firm policy of cuts aimed at reducing the Catalan administration's deficit.
