Do you know what this caganer (a type of caganer) is hiding in the bundle at his side? Well, the "projectiles" he'll use in the candy battle that culminates the Vilanova i la Geltrú Carnival Parades. Each year, more than 6,000 couples participate in this festival, and each group presents its parades in a different uniform: the men wear vests, jackets, shirts, scarves, and other items of clothing that identify them with their respective groups. The women, who wear Manila dresses and cloaks, adorn their heads with carnations that also come in a variety of colors.
